Gus On The Front Porch

In this vivid image there is a hard-working cowboy named Gus sitting on the front porch of an old dirty house. The house appears small and is connected to a wooden porch that has small chunks missing from it. The white walls that make this tired house stand are cracked and worn. The door to the house is open with invitation. Inside the house is very crowded and dusty, all I see is a dining table with a chair. This one chair is covered by a poncho. Although Gus is relaxed and happy, his face is wrinkled and his boots are worn from his hard day. He seems content with what he has although it does not amount to much. His wardrobe consist of suspenders, dusty tall boots, spurs, and a long pair of pants and shirt. Gus is squinting into the distance and smiling at his own thoughts. I know it is his thoughts because the antique stool beside him is empty and the shadow displayed along the wooden porch does not consist of a body's shadow. His thoughts are probably creative and jumbled from the liquor bottle beside him. The main feel I get from this image is that everything has a story. The cracks in the wall have a story of a storm or the wrinkles on his face tell of his good time and bad times in the heat or the chipped porch tells of the many people that have lived here. I know it is cliche but--"If the walls could talk" they would have something to say.

This is a very detailed description. I was able to visualize this scene based on your language. Good job!
